The Ramada Hotel in Cannock will be hosting the fundraising event on September 1 which will include an auction of goodies such as football tickets, theatre tickets and vouchers plus a raffle and a disco.

Sandra was inspired by her 10-year-old niece Chloe Stone from Walsall and hopes to raise over £1,000.

Sandra said: "I have seen my niece go in and out of Acorns Children's Hospice all her life and although it has been hard for her, she just seems to take it all in her stride. Chloe's wish is to meet Mickey Mouse and I want to send her to Euro Disney with her mum and dad to grant that wish."

Chloe's mother Donna Jones added: "Chloe has spent a lot of the last 18 months in hospital and had three major operations and still she smiles and laughs which is truly incredible. Because of her illness, she can't do everything that other little girls her age do and at times that's really hard for her.

"As she loves anything Disney, we know that meeting Mickey Mouse is not only a dream but will also give her that extra spark she needs. She's a warm and amazing little girl who loves life which is an inspiration considering what she has been through."

The night kicks off at 7.30pm and will go on until 1am with tickets costing just £17.50 which includes food. Any extra money raised from the event will get split between Acorns Children's Hospice and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Call 01543 461361 to book.
