A total of 27 pupils signed up for the five-day music media course, which was hosted by the town's Greenwood Studios on Anglesey Business Park off Littleworth Road.  Three bands were formed, each with their own manager.  A media team created videos and photographs of the bands and graphic designers created CD covers and t-shirt designs. Greenwood Studios has teamed up with Cannock Chase Technical College to hold a Battle of the Bands contest on Friday.

The contest will take place in Cannock Chase Technical College's main hall.

The event is free for bands to enter and admission is free for the audience.

Doors open at 10am and the bands will each perform a 15-minute set.

A total of 12 bands will battle it out to win a professional live recording session and video at Greenwood Studios.

It will be judged by Shaun Williamson, best known as Barry from EastEnders and recently seen in Extras.
