Glenn Watson, Cannock Chase Council economic development manager, said: "This is the second handbook we have produced and it combines important information about the district in a single, handy guide.
"As well as being an invaluable tool to local firms, it will also be available nationally as part of our ongoing campaign to attract more business relocation, expansion and tourism to the district, which is continuing to see additional economic and transportation benefits from the new M6 Toll motorway."
Mr Watson said since 1995 the district has seen massive investment in its infrastructure – in excess of a quarter of a billion pounds – together with an influx of businesses creating a wide range of jobs.
He added: "The area is now seen as one of the centres of enterprise on the rim of the West Midlands and the business hub of southern Staffordshire."
Councillor Neil Stanley, Cannock Chase Council leader, said: "I am confident that the new handbook will continue to play a valuable role in the promotion of Cannock Chase District as a thriving and prosperous location for both new and existing business, as well as encouraging tourism opportunities."
