Organisers have decided to celebrate the 20th festival by bringing back those artists people asked to see again. This year's programme, set to run from October 5 to October 13, is even more star-studded than usual and has been entitled the Best From the Past.

Organisers have decided to celebrate the 20th festival by bringing back those artists people asked to see again.

Festival director Jenny Paddock, said: "This year is very special and we have decided to make it even more so by asking back those artists that our audiences wanted to see again.

"Therefore, every act in the programme will have appeared before and we know we are in for an amazing week.

"Normally it is rare for acts to be invited to appear again at the Festival but this year every personality Elkie Brooks will open the festival which is to be opened by Bewdley's Town Mayor councillor Anne Mace.

Her performance will be followed by shows by double act Kit and the Widow, Rick Wakeman, people's poet Pam Ayres, Roy Bailey, jazz singer Stacey Kent, Alastair Fothergill, the man behind the award-winning natural history series The Blue Planet, comedy writer and broadcaster Barry Cryer, local boy and charismatic frontman Mike Sanchez and The Portions, singer and songwriter Julie Felix, Harvey Andrews, antiques expert Henry Sandon and wildlife photographer Michael Leach.

People seeking to buy in person will be able to do so by calling at Bewdley Tourist Office in Load Street.
