Sizzling time of top dancing
After dazzling the nation with their sexy moves on hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing, twinkle-toed duo Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova have now been showing dance fans in Wolverhampton how to impress in the ballroom.
Young and old alike packed into the city's Civic Hall to show off their own moves before taking a seat to watch the world-class duo in action during the dancing spectacular.
Darren and Lilia are current British champions and represent the UK at European and world level.
They have both also tasted victory on Strictly Come Dancing after pairing up with celebrities willing to learn how to move like the best.
And they captivated the 400-strong crowd during the dancing spectacular with five show-stopping numbers.
The crowds were also treated to a ballroom display by amateur champions Daniele Gallaro and Kimberly Taylor as part of the event, organised by Midland Dance Events.
Nick Gallagher-Hughes, who runs the company with wife Alison, said: "We run social dance events throughout the region and we get the celebrity dancers on board to make the whole thing more special."
Michelle Powell, from Walsall, went along with some of her friends from the Wednesfield-based Stardust Dance Centre. The 33-year-old said: "We go to all of these events and they are fantastic."
One of the youngest members of the crowd was nine-year-old Sophie Wilson, from Tettenhall, who proudly showed off her own dancing skills on the night.
