Since February, thousands of talented young golfers from all over the UK have been competing in the championship to earn the accolade of playing at The Belfry in the national final.

Golfers from Weston Road High School, Stafford; Brocton Hall Golf Club, Stafford; and the Chase Golf Club, Penkridge, will all take part.

The two top-scoring teams from a total of 28 golf clubs, schools and colleges will be battling it out for a place at the national final on October 1.

Claire Goodman, regional director for the BHF, said: "Congratulations to all the teams taking part in the regional final, and good luck to those who make it through to the National Final at The Belfry in October.

"A big thank you must go to all the teams who have taken part in the competition - your hard work means that the BHF can continue its essential work saving and improving lives."

Last year's Junior Golf Championship raised a record sum of almost £300,000.
