The Las Vegas showdown is being staged in the early hours on Sunday June 24 and both venues have got licences to show it on their multiple screens.

Ricky visited Bar Sport in Walsall in 2005 before he defeated Jostya Tszu. He signed autographs, posed for pictures and answered fans' questions.

Scott Murray, owner of the Bar Sport chain, said it offered fans the opportunity to watch the fight, soak up the atmosphere and have breakfast. Mr Murray added: "lt should be a really fantastic night for all fans of boxing and Ricky Hatton in particular. Doors will reopen at 2am with the fight expected to take place at around 3am.

"Ricky is a fantastic fighter and a really great guy. We have built a good relationship up with him at Bar Sport.

"He has visited Bar Sport in Walsall in the past and fans really enjoyed meeting him. We are also looking to invite Ricky back to Bar Sport in the future. The event should prove to be very popular.

"We are the only venue around which is showing the fight in the early hours. The atmosphere at both venues should be absolutely fantastic. People will be able to come and tuck in with a freshly cooked breakfast while they watch what should be a really cracking fight. It should be one of the toughest fights of Ricky's life and I think everyone will be in for a real treat," he added.

The pair will clash at the Thomas and Mack Centre for the IBO light-welterweight crown – but the belt is a virtual irrelevance with the prize of becoming undisputed king of the 147lbs division at stake.

Mexican Castillo, 33, made his name in two epic battles with Diego Corrales. Hatton's defining fight was his win over Kostya Tszyu.

Mr Murray also has a Bar Sport in Rugby and plans to open further venues across the West Midlands.

Tickets for the event are priced £10 and are available by ringing Bar Sport Walsall on 01922 648844 or Cannock on 01543 573131.
