Historian Beryl Wilkes compiled the set of 16 shots including classic Coseley buildings such as the Apple Tree pub, in Castle Street, Ettingshall Park farm and the former civic centre at Roseville.
Beauty spots including the Ladymoor Pool, a stunning shot of the canal running through the town and Grange Park also feature in the collection.
Many of the postcards find their way around the world and are snapped up by former residents who have moved away but are keen to evoke the sights and memories of their home town.
Mrs Wilkes, who also produces a successful set of calendars for the town each year, said the card collection was a way for Coseley people to stay connected with their heritage.
"The idea is to put Coseley on the map and back into people's minds," she said. "Few people realise just how big Coseley was when it had its own council and that's very upsetting.
"For those who have always lived here, the calendars and postcards are a way of keeping people connected with their heritage and the way Coseley used to be."
Each postcard is available for 35p from shops in Coseley including the Movie Magic video store, in Castle Street, and the Regards card shop, on the Bramfords estate.
The whole set costs £5.60 plus 70p postage. Call Mrs Wilkes on 01902 491583.
