Brave Paige recovering
Schoolgirl Paige Marsh-Roberts holds up the brake lever which could have killed her after becoming embedded in her leg as she rode her bike near her Black Country home.

The nine-year-old Withymoor Primary School pupil was being sent home from Birmingham Children's Hospital today after an operation to remove the four inch lever.
The metal ruptured her muscle and left her with a four-inch deep gash in her thigh.
The youngster had been riding her bike in Stevens Park, in Quarry Bank, on Wednesday evening, when the back wheel caught a slide, causing the handlebars to whip round and impale her thigh.
Doctors said the freak injury came within a whisker of severing an artery and causing the youngster to bleed to death. She has been hailed as an "an absolute hero" for her courage while emergency services worked to free her.
Plucky Paige has been given the four-inch metal lever as a memento and is planning to take it into school to wow her friends.
