Esme's 13-year-old sister Olivia Hill also dances three times a week and their mother Jo Hill said she was extremely proud of them. Mrs Hill, aged 38, is a nursery teacher at Etching Hill Primary School and said: "It is a massive part of our lives but we all enjoy it otherwise we wouldn't do it. The girls live and breathe dancing and it is wonderful to watch them."
Esme's recent success meant she moved into a new category and new age group as she celebrates her 10th birthday on Saturday. She has now entered the intermediate category rather than starter. Recent competitions she took part in were in Coventry, Sedgley, Rugeley and Stratford. She will compete in Cradley Heath on Sunday.
