In the Express and Star of November 9th 2006, we reported that former Hednesford Town manager and player Steve Anthrobus had appeared before Magistrates, where he faced two public indecency offences.

The article was correct, but due to an error, a number of advertising placards identified Hednesford Town's current manager, Phillip Starbuck, as the defendant, rather than its ex-manager, Anthrobus.

We sincerely and unreservedly apologise to Mr. Starbuck for the error that took place, and for any hurt and embarrassment the poster may have caused him. We wish to make it clear to any readers who may have seen the advertising placards last November, that the defendant in the case was Mr. Anthrobus, and not Mr. Starbuck. Mr. Starbuck has never been involved in any criminal activity, and is a respectable and upstanding member of the community.
