One guided walk takes place around the bluebell woodlands at Merrions Wood, off Birmingham Road, Walsall, on Sunday.
Senior countryside ranger Diana West will be leading the walk around the 17-acre plot. She said: "It's a sight we sometimes take for granted but it's actually quite unique to the British Isles. Bluebells are often a sign of ancient woodland."
The walk is from 2 to 4pm. To book a place call 0845 111 2900.
Another guided walk is taking place through Sot's Hole Nature Reserve in Dagger Lane, West Bromwich, also on Sunday. Last year's inaugural event proved to be such a hit that additional experts had to be drafted.
Local plant expert Mike Poulton will be on hand to answer questions about the large number of bluebells within the woodland and also about other plant species that flourish there. Prices are £1.75 for adults, £1.25 for under 16s/over 60s or £4.50 for families. Tickets can be bought by calling 0121 553 0220.
Islands of blue are scattering throughout the gardens at Arley Arboretum near Bewdley. One of the most spectacular displays is around the bog garden. Opening hours from Wednesday to Sunday inclusive are 11am to 5pm and tickets cost £4 for adults, £1 for children under-16 and under-fives are free.
In Staffordshire a farming family throw their gates open for three weeks every year for people to enjoy their very own bluebell woods. The Featherstone family, who own Yoxall Lodge farm in Newchurch, recently opened their grounds to visitors, and they will remain open until May 13.
There are four walks for people to enjoy the bluebells, ranging from half a mile to two and a half miles. Admission to Yoxall Lodge is £2.50 for adults, £1 for children aged five to 16 and free for under fives. Visitors can call in between 10.30am and 6pm each day.
The Friends of Riverway are hosting a bluebell walk and picnic in Stafford this Sunday. Anyone interested in joining the walk should meet at noon at St Thomas Priory at noon, just north of the bridges at the bottom of Baswich Lane.
