Scooter crushed in police blitz
People caught riding mini motos and motorcycles illegally will have their machines seized and crushed, police in Kidderminster warn today after a teenager's scooter was destroyed at a breaker's yard.

The 14-year-old caught riding his scooter without a licence or insurance in Woodbury Road was reported and summoned to appear before Kidderminster Youth Court.
And the go-ahead was given on Thursday for the machine to be destroyed.
Police launched a crackdown on bike crime in the Wyre Forest district after six motorcycles were stolen.
Bikes, including Suzukis and Kawasakis, were taken in a burglary at an industrial estate near Birchen Coppice in Kidderminster on April 15.
Several bikes have since been recovered, including one which was abandoned at Vicarage Farm nature reserve.
Members of the public should report seeing motorcycles or scooters being ridden by youngsters, or which they suspect to be stolen, to 08457 444888.
* A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and given police bail until May 14.
