Pc Kellie Irvine has joined Pc Sally Sliwinska and Community Support Officer Kate Easthope, to look after Cookley and Wolverley.
She has been a police officer for eight years, mainly at Kidderminster with a short spell at Stourport.
Pc Irvine said: "Moving from response to local policing is a change of direction for me, but I am looking forward to the new challenge.
"I will be working closely with the schools, shops, churches, youth groups and other organisations in Cookley and Wolverley, building links with members of the local community."
Pc Sliwinska said: "We are delighted to welcome Kellie to the Cookley and Wolverley Local Policing Team. She will enjoy meeting members of the local community over the coming months, and I am sure they will give her a warm welcome."
There is an introduction to Pc Irvine in the first Cookley and Wolverley Local Policing Team newsletter. The newsletter will be produced monthly, and will be available at locations such as shops and post offices.
The next Cookley and Wolverley PACT (Partners and Communities Together) meeting is due to be held on April 26 at 6.30pm at Wolverley Memorial Hall, Shatterford Lane.
Updates will be given on the priorities raised at the last PACT meeting on January 8, which were anti-social behaviour in Wolverley village, poor road surfaces in Sladd Lane and Kingsford Lane, and speeding in Sladd Lane and in Wolverley village.
