An advertisment has been placed in Police Review magazine this week and will be forwarded to all forces throughout the country. Staffordshire Police Authority chairman Councillor Mike Poulter said the closing date for applications was May 4, with interviews earmarked for June.The new Chief Constable would then be in position by the end of September.
Mr Poulter said: "We are looking for a person who can meet the challenges of leading and taking the next steps forward for the people and communities of Staffordshire."
