Arrests after dog attacks

Three thugs set a Rottweiler dog on a teenager in an unprovoked attack in Kidderminster.

The victim, Tahmim Miah, aged 18 was bitten on the top of the leg by the dog and was also punched by its owner.

The attack happenned as he was walking home in Baxter Road at 3pm on Tuesday.

Mr Miah, an A-level student at Worcester Sixth Form College, claims he was racially abused by the men before they set the dog on him.

Mr Miah managed to shake the dog off and jump into a car .

Police officers were called to the scene and arrested three men aged 19, 20 and 22 on suspicion of assault.

Mr Miah required stitches for the wound at Kidderminster Hospital.

He said: "It was just totally uncalled for and totally unprovoked."
