The Home Bargains superstore will open on Bentley Bridge retail park on Saturday.

The new £500,000 shop has created 30 jobs.

The 8,000 sq ft store will sell discounted branded goods including health and beauty products, household goods, homeware, confectioneries, soft and alcoholic drinks, food and toys.

There are outlets in Bilston, Walsall, Bloxwich, Northfield, Smethwick, Aldridge and Brierley Hill.

Home Bargains operations director Joe Morris said: "Our ethos is to sell at the lowest possible price we can. We won't sell an item unless we can do it for less than the competition. We are now the third largest independent grocer in the country, with more than 120 stores across the UK and growing at a rate of around 25 per cent a year."

The store will join the likes of Boots, Dorothy Perkins and Hobbycraft at the retail park, however some of the units on the beleagured site still remain empty. The former Healthland gym is still empty.
