May date for new Primark
Fashion giant Primark opens its new flagship store at the Merry Hill Centre on May 4.

It ends months of uncertainty over when the shop would open after plans to get it up and running last year fell through.
More than 250 jobs will be created when the popular discount fashion opens its doors next month.
Bosses say they will be taking on 247 staff. The company will also be taking on a further 18 staff in various management roles before the store opens.
Bosses at Primark, which opened another branch in Wolverhampton city centre last year, say it will be offering positions as supervisors and retail operatives. There will be 20 full-time positions available, 104 part-time and 123 weekend-only roles.
The 47,000 sq ft shop was originally mooted to open in time for the Christmas rush but shoppers were left disappointed amid rumours of a hold-up with building work.
Primark snapped up 40 Littlewood's stores in 2005 as part of a national £409 million takeover and will open up to 15 new stores across the country this year, including a flagship store in London's Oxford Street.
Based in Ireland, it has been hailed as the UKs most popular chain store because it offers the latest looks at costs far lower than many other High Street shops.
Thousands of shoppers poured through the doors of the Wolverhampton branch when it opened last year.
