He has been banned from going near a string of Kidderminster shops.

Daniel Dalton, aged 16, from Habberley, Kidderminster, has been given a two-year Anti-Social Behaviour Order which stops him from entering an exclusion zone around shops in Canterbury Road.

The order was made at Kidderminster youth court.

It means Dalton must not shout, spit, commit verbal or physical assault, swear in public, throw eggs, stones or other missiles at people, vehicles or property.

He is also prevented from entering an exclusion zone incorporating Canterbury Road and the shop frontages, the top of Shrewsbury Road at its junction with Canterbury Road, the area at the back of the shops and Pershore Road at its junction with Canterbury Road.

PC Dan Wood said: "The local community has a right to be protected from this type of behaviour. If Dalton breaks the order he can face a jail sentence of up to five years which we hope will act as a deterrent.

"We will continue to clamp down on individuals who make other peoples' lives a misery."
