Traders' joy over market
A new weekly market is to be launched in Stourport town centre to help boost the sale of local produce.

The move has been welcomed by business leaders who say it will benefit other trade in the town.
The Farmers and Community market has been organised by the Witley-based Rosy Apple company and backed by Stourport Forward and the district council.
Stalls will be set up in Raven Street which will be closed off to traffic to allow shoppers to browse in safety.
It will start next Tuesday and run every Tuesday from 9am until 4pm in Raven Street off Bridge Street.
The market will be the first to come to the town since a popular farmers' market stopped last summer and the move has been welcomed by Bridge Street Business Association.
Stalls will sell a range of locally sourced produce such as meat and poultry, fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, plants and fresh bread and cakes.
Each week a free stall will be made available to a local community group and it is hoped the Fairtrade stall will return once a month.
The chairman of Stourport Forward Market Towns Programmes, Derek Fradgley, said: "The market is part of our overall plan to regenerate and celebrate our wonderful Georgian town.
"It is also an important way of local producers being able to sell their goods.
"The farmers' market was very successful last year and well supported.
"The new market is a great way of extending the wide range of opportunities for shopping and recreation for local residents and visitors."
The chairman of Bridge Street Business Association, Peter Roberts, said: "The market is a brilliant idea – it will be great for trade in this part of town because it will bring more people down here."
