Future Championship Wrestling has been set up by part-time doorman, 27-year-old Marc Hogan from Dudley. He said the travelling show had been going all over the country, but they were currently concentrating on local venues.
Marc, of Corporation Road, Kate's Hill, said he was anxious to see wrestling gain the popularity it had in the 1960s. They were the magic years, when wrestling was on the telly every week," he said.
One of the highlights at the show was 20-year-old Adam Kirby, from Saltwells Road, Dudley, who wrestles under the name of "Mr Bad Attitude" Saul Adams.
It was a "home from home" night for Adam, who during the week works as a lifeguard at the leisure centre.
