Lee Borg, aged 20, from Longford Road, sobbed as he was jailed for two months yesterday for driving while disqualified and for having no tax or insurance.

He had posed grinning for a photo following a court case last year after admitting driving a mini-motorbike dangerously and without an MOT or insurance.

He was banned in September and given a two- month suspended sentence with a supervision order.

Trish Carter, from Cheslyn Hay, collapsed and died in November 2005 hours after Borg and two friends rode a mini-motorbike into the path of her dog.

Magistrates told Borg they had no option but to jail him after he was caught driving a car while banned on the Stafford Road on February 26 this year.
