Photos inspire son's search
A firefighter's son today launched a bid to find out more about his late father through photos of a bus in a Staffordshire river.

John Rees, aged 49, has pictures showing the vehicle which crashed off the road and plunged into the River Trent between Hill Ridware and Armitage.
His late father Tommy Rees helped out at the scene during his stint as a retained fireman in Rugeley during the 1950s. The two black and white pictures were hanging on the wall at Rugeley fire station.
Mr Rees said: "My dad passed away 12 years ago and I hadn't really asked anything about the photo, so all I knew was it was somewhere between Hill Ridware and Handsacre." Anyone with information should call 01889 803291 or post your comments below.
