The concert is part of the Forestry Commission's For-est Tour 2007 which will see concerts at beauty spots across the country.

The Feeling will perform on Cannock Chase on June 22, James Morrison will be there on June 23 and Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra on June 24 with guest singers Lulu, Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall.

A total of 4,500 tickets will be available for each concert and more than 2,600 tickets were snapped up for The Feeling in the first 11 days.

Forest planner Alastair Semple said: "We have been very lucky with the names we have got coming to Cannock Chase and are expecting it to be extremely successful."
