NIA gets first Police gig
Birmingham's NIA will host the first UK date by The Police as they embark on a European tour.

The band will appear at the venue on Tuesday September 4 – their first live concert for 23 years .
During their time together The Police had five number one albums, a succession of top 10 singles and received six Grammy Awards.
The first date in Birmingham will be the band's first live performance in the UK since New Year's Eve 1983 when they performed at Wembley Arena during the Synchronicity Tour.

Tickets (£40-£85) for the UK leg of The Police Tour range go on sale on Friday at 9am.
