Around 30 girls aged between 17 and 25 have already signed up for the Miss Walsall contest, and the first heat will take place at the WS1 nightspot.
Four heats will take place over the next four weeks with the grand final set for March 26.
Tonight's first round will be the first chance for the girls to impress the judges which include a WS1 representative, a model, a sponsor and the 2005 winner and this year's organiser, Kelly Osborne.
The 20-year-old, from Bloxwich, said this year was set to be the toughest yet – with losers being sent home.
"There are a lot of beautiful girls but they all have very strong personalities. Tonight they will have go in front of the judges, have a chat with the compere and strike a pose."
Prizes of £1,000 will be up for grabs to the top three but it is the prospect of signing a modelling contract which is the biggest draw.
The competition, styled on America's Next Top Model with Tyra Banks, has also secured the support of a number of sponsors who have donated a wealth of beauty products.
Last minute hopefuls can still enter but applications should be received no later than March 12. And proceeds for the event, which costs £2 to enter for the heats, will be donated to Breast Cancer UK. The charity was chosen after one of Kelly's family members was diagnosed, although they have since made a recovery.
Tonight's first heat will start at around 9.30pm but doors open at 9pm.
Saddlers players Craig Pead and Darren Wrack have also expressed an interest in judging the final along with a Heart FM DJ.
Since winning the title in 2005 Kelly has been linked with a top agency in London and won through to the final of the Motorcycle News Babe competition.
Kelly, of Tewkesbury Avenue, Mossley, dreams of opening her own agency with her mother.
