A milkman making a delivery to a cafe at Chasewater Country Park in Burntwood chased thieves for two miles after they stole personal belongings from his float.
The man was delivering to the cafe at Chasewater Innovation Centre when the incident happened at 10.30am last Friday. Police have just released details of the incident.
The trio struck when the milk float was left unattended.
They stole a black canvas holdall, containing £120 glasses, a brown leather wallet containing £160 cash, a HSBC card and a blue 3310 blue Nokia mobile phone.
The thieves also snatched the milkman's green cloth bag, which contained £30.
