Click here to see large version of image The man, thought to be aged in his 30s, was rescued by colleagues just after 1pm yesterday while working on cables near to Parchfield Farm, Colton, near Rugeley. The man, thought to be aged in his 30s, was rescued by colleagues just after 1pm yesterday while working on cables near to Parchfield Farm, Colton, near Rugeley.
It is understood the man was working in a specialist basket suspended from the wires when he was taken ill.Staffordshire's Air Ambulance attended along with four paramedic units and the man was rushed to Stafford hospital by land ambulance shortly after his colleagues brought him down to the ground.
It is understood the man was complaining of chest pains. Police officers sealed off the entrance to Parchfield Farm while the rescue took place.
Firefighters from Rugeley and Stafford were called to assist in the rescue but were not needed.
