Fight for pool goes on
Campaigners battling to get a new swimming pool built in Brierley Hill have vowed to continue their fight - exactly 12 months after the town's former baths was closed.

Members of the Save Our Swimming (SOS) group say they are more determined than ever to get Brierley Hill Baths replaced, with time not blunting their determination.
Dudley Council leisure bosses made the decision to close the former swimming pool in Brierley Hill after claiming it was costing too much money to keep open, and would need millions of pounds to bring it up to modern standards.
Swimming clubs based at the centre, including Brierley Hill Swimming Club, were forced to move to Dudley and Coseley leisure centres.
Members of the swimming club held a special event to mark a year since the controversial closure yesterday.
Swimmer Phil Steven, who is involved with the SOS group, said: "We will not rest until there is a baths back in Brierley Hill for people to use."
