A house in Blewitt Street, Hednesford, was broken into at 7am on Thursday and was searched but nothing was stolen.
A house was broken into in Fisher Street, Hednesford, overnight on Wednesday and a purse containing cash and cards was stolen.
An attempted burglary also took place in Cemetery Road, Cannock, when windows were forced and a glass panel in a door broken.
