Police hunting a gang who hijacked a lorry filled with £500,000 worth of Xbox consoles in Lichfield are appealing for information about a red car.
The red Subaru was spotted parked on a road leading to the Hellmann Worldwide Logistics distribution depot in Fradley. Detectives are appealing for the owner to come forward.
The robbery happened on Monday at 5am, four days after another lorry containing £750,000 of Xbox consoles was stolen from the depot.
Meanwhile, police forensic experts have examined the stolen trailer which was found empty and abandoned on the A38 northbound at Minworth near Sutton Coldfield on the day of the theft.
The lorry tractor unit, registered number PJ 52 CLO, is still missing. Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the lorry.
Police have also revealed that the stolen consoles came complete with a new game - yet to be released, Smackdown.
Staffordshire Police spokesman Peter Stevens said: "If anyone is offered an Xbox with this game in then there is a good chance it came from this theft."
Detectives at Trent Valley CID are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact Detective Constable Graham Tomlinson on 08453 302010 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
