Following the coldest December in living memory Wolverhampton's HiQ car servicing centre has experienced a surge in wheel alignment related problems.

The Chapel Ash branch has seen a 15 per cent increase in wheel alignment problems – and with pot holes continuing to

cause a hazard for West Midlands motorists, owner Simon Bennett has decided to offer free winter health and wheel

alignment safety checks for vehicles.

He said: "The extremely harsh winter and damage caused to vehicles has left many owners with unwanted bills with specific damage to wheels, tyres and suspension.

"There is a huge need and demand for wheel alignment to be carried out correctly and we are in a position to do this.

"Our wheel alignment check is a free service, no appointment required, while our winter health checks are also available, as long as motorists book in advance."

Wheel alignment problems can cause cars to feel like they are steering off the road.
