Britney Spears - Femme Fatale
We've been there through the heartbreaks and hang-ups, watched her very public growing up and observed the near meltdowns of 2007. From Mickey Mouse club to sex symbol, from single mum to hospital case; we've been there and seen that.

Happily, the focus can turn once more to Britney's music for this, her seventh studio album. Executive producers Max Martin and Dr Luke have given her a deeper, electronic sound and other collaborates include will.i.am, Fraser T Shmith and Shellback.
Lead single Hold It Against Me is indicative of the Europoean-electro style of her latest work. This follow-up Britney's aptly-named predecessor, Circus, marks the latest stage of her reinvention. In truth, it's not a game-changing release from her. She's unlikely to change the shifting tide of contemporary pop with this collection of nu-feminist tunes.
However, dubstep-inspired songs like Hold It Against Me and stadium-sized party anthems like Til The World Ends are impressive all the same. After a spell on the sidelines, Britney has rediscovered her mojo.
Available Monday.
