Glamorous models were stepping out in style today and also tomorrow to mark the end of Merry Hill's Spring Fashion Week.

And last night shoppers were given a sneak preview of what's in store as the latest fashions on sale in the Brierley Hill shopping centre were highlighted in a VIP show. The shows feature professional dancers modelling a wide range of fashions for all the family.

Around 20 stores feature in the shows, including Marks & Spencer, River Island, New Look, Top Man, Bhs, Joy and Elvi.

And it was all things bright and beautiful with bold colours and vibrant patterns stealing the show last night as the dancing models showed off this season's palette of fresh hues.

However, classic black and white also had a strong presence. Key trends included styles from the swinging 60s, with mini-dresses on show while 80s favourite leggings are very much still around.

Joy, the shopping centre's new addition on the fashion scene, showed off a emerald green mini dress worn over jeans.

From River Island there were colourful 60s style mini dress and tops on display while Bhs helped get shoppers the mood for summer with models showing off a range of casual, yet stylish, holidaywear.

Marks & Spencer finished off the show with male, female and child models showcasing everything from white trouser suits to floral dresses.

Catwalk shows were taking place today at 1pm, 2.30pm, 4pm and 5.30pm and continue tomorrow at noon, 1.30pm and 3pm.
