Michelle Gomes loved her career in marketing and communications but after her daughter was born her priorities started to shift.

Realising she needed a job that would enable her to spend more time with her family, Michelle, who hails from Brazil, decided to pursue a long-held creative passion and retrain as an interior designer.

Based in Stafford, she runs her own business, helping people across the Midlands to create their dream spaces that are stylish, functional and personal.

Michelle graduated with Distinction from the British Academy of Interior Design in 2016.

“After training with a renowned London designer, I was encouraged to forge my own path,” she explains.

“My first project was transforming our own 1980s house into a modern family home. This personal project not only became my portfolio, but also taught me a fundamental lesson: great design is brought to life by a great team. It’s about collaboration and partnership,” Michelle adds.
