Black Country Championship Wrestling (BCCW) will present its show "King of the Division 5" from the Apollo Wolverhampton on Skinner Street on Friday, February 27, marking the first show in its new home.

Since its first show in 2021, the promotion has been putting on shows at Allens Sports Bar in Tipton, as well as occasional shows at Sedgley Ex-Servicemen's Club, with shows regularly selling out at both venues.

Each show has featured a mixture of locally trained talent, former WWE wrestlers, up-and-coming stars from further afield and even some legends of the sport such as James Mason and the Hunter Brothers.

Promoters Rob Campbell and Craig Chaloner have seen the development of the promotion from smaller crowds at the beginning to having to turn people away at the door and Mr Campbell said the move to the Apollo was happening at the right time.

He said: "It's a massive opportunity that we have to go to the Apollo Wolverhampton and it really is the right time as we were at the point where we couldn't fit any more people into Allens Sports Bar.
