Organisations including Acorns Children's Hospice, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Parkinson's trusts are among those who will be receiving a slice of £140 million proceeds from the show which saw thousands of fans flock to Aston in Birmingham for the Back to the Beginning gig held on July 5.

In a statement Acorns Children's Hospice said: "We are deeply saddened by the passing of Ozzy Osbourne and send our heartfelt condolences to Sharon and the entire Osbourne family at this incredibly difficult time. Ozzy was more than a global rock icon – he was a true son of Birmingham whose legacy transcended music. As the frontman of Black Sabbath, he not only pioneered a genre and inspired generations, he carried the pride of Birmingham and the West Midlands with him on every world stage he performed.

"For us at Acorns, his generosity and compassion will never be forgotten. His decision to support Acorns during their unforgettable Back to the Beginning show at Villa Park was a moment of pure magic. It was a tribute not only to their extraordinary musical journey, but to the community that shaped them – a community we are proud to serve every day.

"That night and in the weeks since, thanks to Ozz, our children’s hospice care has been embraced by people across the world. Families who so often can feel unseen have been celebrated by millions.

"It feels especially fitting that the world was able to see Ozzy’s brilliance one more time, doing what he loved, in the city he called home, surrounded by fans who adored him. His legacy with Acorns will live on. He didn’t just help raise vital funds, he helped raise awareness. He helped people see the love, the strength, and the fullness with which children and families at Acorns live their lives, often with the same fire and passion that Ozzy himself was known for.

"His passing leaves a silence that will be deeply felt. But his voice, his legacy, and the love he shared will echo for generations - thank you for standing with our children and families when it mattered most."

The Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity also stated: "We’re so very sad to hear the news of Ozzy Osbourne’s passing. He had an incredible career and life, but never forgot his Brummie roots. Our hospital was extremely lucky to have his support over the years and most recently with his iconic final performance, which will leave a lasting legacy for our sick kids.

"We’ll be forever grateful to him for all he has done in shining a global spotlight on our beloved hospital along with Cure Parkinson’s and Acorn’s Children’s Hospice. Our thoughts are with Sharon and the whole Osbourne family."

Cure Parkinson's chief executive Helen Matthews posted on X that the charity was devastated to learn of the singer's death: "It seems incredible that a couple of short weeks ago Ozzy, Black Sabbath and all the acts that contributed to Back to the Beginning produced the most phenomenal and vibrant concert at Villa Park.

"We are so grateful to Ozzy for all he has done to significantly raise the profile of Parkinson's and put a spotlight on the work."
