Big crowds at Birmingham Bullring as One Direction star signs autographs ahead of tour date

There were excited fans queueing out of the doors of a Birmingham music store as a huge star came to sign autographs at a meet and greet.

Former One Direction singer and solo star Louis Tomlinson was at the HMV store in the Bullring in Birmingham on Monday to meet fans at a special signing event for his new album.

The singer released "How Did I Get Here?" earlier in the week and signed copies of the album, plus any other items that fans wanted him to sign.

The Bullring had shared a number of photos at HMV on Monday on Facebook and Instagram, with Louis seen chatting to fans in a corner of the shop at the event, which was organised by HMV and had sold out.

Louis will be coming back to Birmingham on the tour to perform at the Utilita Arena on Saturday, April 25 as part of a tour which will start in Germany in March, then see him perform in Europe before returning the UK for shows in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Dublin, Brighton and London, then end with dates in the USA and Canada.

He will perform songs from the new album as part of the tour, which includes "Lemonade", "Palaces" and "Imposter", with tickets to the show at the Utilita Arena starting at £55.85 for standing and £66.85 for seating.
