Stellar line-up announced as popular tribute music festival set to return to Wolverhampton
It's set to be another bumper weekend of fun and music as a popular festival returns to Wolverhampton.
WV1Fest will again see thousands of people come to West Park in the centre of the city for a weekend of one of the biggest and best tribute band festivals in the country.
It has been a regular feature of the cultural and music scene in Wolverhampton for more than 10 years, with the 2025 event bringing in large crowds on both days and even allowing those in attendance to bark at the moon in tribute to Ozzy Osbourne.

The festival will return to the park on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9 and will provide a very diverse line-up over the two days, with the first day being headlined by Metallica tribute band Metal Militia, who will be paying tribute to 40 years since Master of Puppets was release, while the Sunday headliner will be Ultimate Coldplay.

Other bands hitting the stages over the two days will include tributes to Guns n' Roses, Limp Bizkit, Iron Maiden, the Prodigy, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Biffy Clyro and Green Day.
Other attractions at the festival will include more food and drink vendors and family friendly activities, with organiser Jools Taylor talking about what people can expect.

He said: "This year, we're pulling out all the stops to deliver an unforgettable weekend of music, and pure festival magic.
"After 10 years of growth and evolution, WV1Fest 2026 is set to be the most spectacular edition yet, promising an experience that will leave you buzzing long after the last note fades away.
"WV1Fest 2026 Will Be Unforgettable because of a line-up that will blow your mind as we've created a lineup that's packed with incredible talent, featuring a mix of established tribute headliners, rising stars, and local heroes.

"Get ready to discover your new favorite band and sing along to the anthems you know and love."
Tickets to the festival, which cost £16 for adults and children aged 0 to five going free go on sale on Friday, alongside a number of VIP tickets.
