WV1Fest has been a feature of the live music scene in Wolverhampton for a decade, with West Park becoming a haven for music fans within the confines of the green and leafy park.

Ahead of the 10th year of the popular festival on Saturday and Sunday, we've taken a look at who is playing, special events happening at the weekend and what is on offer in terms of food and drink for those looking to rock out and sing their favourite songs.

What is WV1Fest and who runs it?

WV1Fest is an annual music festival known for featuring tribute bands, which first ran in Wolverhampton in 2016.

The festival aims to provide a fun, safe, and family-friendly environment for music lovers of all ages and was established to bring quality live music to the Wolverhampton area.

It's run by UK Tribute Festivals, who said that their ethos was to "create events for you to come and experience two days of the best tribute bands on the planet. 

"We spare no expense in creating the best festival experience possible and deliver high production values in an extremely fun filled safe family environment. 

"We attract like-minded festival revellers of all ages from all corners of the UK and beyond."
