The band will also be playing Muthers Studio, in Birmingham, as part of their new UK-wide tours.

New single Decider is about the ultimate endgame – death – and guitarist Butch Dante said the song came from the band’s own recent experiences.

“We’ve lost a few people recently that we were close to. It does tend to make you ponder the universe, and whether you get a second act," he said.

Filmed on location in the Texas panhandle, the video will be the second of a triptych of films written by Butch.

They all focus on the band’s main preoccupation – that the world is ending and people should be kinder to each other while the end game nears.

The band has gained strong support at radio from the likes of Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq, Marc Riley, Tom Ravenscroft and Nemone at BBC 6 Music, Benji B at BBC Radio 1, John Kennedy at Radio X, Amazing Radio, Artrocker Radio and the BBC’s Janice Long.

The Imbeciles’ self-titled debut album will be released on March 27 and after they stop off at Muthers Studio as part of their UK tour on April 17.

The band also head to Leeds, Glasgow, Tynemouth, Brighton, Bristol, London and Manchester.
