Cheryl Cole to play Birmingham LG Arena

Girls Aloud and X Factor star Cheryl Cole today announced she will be heading to the Midlands in the autumn as part of her first UK arena tour.

The singer, who released single Call My Name this week following a slot at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert, will play Birmingham's LG Arena on October 12 as part of the eight-date stint.

Tickets are priced at £35 and will go on sale at 9am on Friday.
