George Michael reschedules Birmingham LG Arena concerts
George Michael is back in good health and preparing to return to the big stage this autumn with rescheduled dates at Birmingham's LG Arena on September 16 and 17, 2012, after a battle with pneumonia which led to his Symphonica tour being postponed.

George Michael is back in good health and preparing to return to the big stage this autumn with rescheduled dates at Birmingham's LG Arena on September 16 and 17, 2012, after a battle with pneumonia which led to his Symphonica tour being postponed.
Concert promoters have confirmed that original tickets will be valid for the rescheduled dates, while any returned tickets will be available to purchase from the venue box office.
Tickets for December 9, 2011, will now be valid on September 16, 2012, and the December 10, 2011, show will now take place September 17, 2012.

One of British music's greatest singer-songwriters and most loved artists, George Michael will be performing a carefully chosen selection of his own songs, spanning all his remarkable, near 30-year career, as well as a number of covers from some of his favourite artists.
The music will be re-worked and re-arranged for the orchestra which will accompany George at each location. This new classical setting will give each song added layers and new nuances.
The Symphonica tour will kick off its first concert on September 4, 2012, in Vienna, a newly added date in the city where George was hospitalised with pneumonia after performing 46 of the original 65 dates of his tour.
The star will donate one thousand tickets for this September 4 date as a special thank you to the medical staff who cared for him so well whilst he was in hospital.
He said: "I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you first to the doctors and nurses who saved my life and took such great care of me and to all my fans, family and friends for their love and support. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone."
