Dogs Trust West Midlands, based in Kenilworth, helps dogs from across Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Wolverhampton, and beyond.

There are four dogs at the Dogs Trust Loughborough who are looking for a forever home, and there are four dogs at the Dogs Trust Kenilworth.

Listed below are the furry friends who are in need of a loving new home.

1. Seal - The Dogs Trust Loughborough

Seal is a goofy, four-year-old Greyhound who is looking to sample life in a home for the first time. This lovely boy is looking for an adopter who can show him the ropes and help him adjust to life in the big, wide world. 

He loves walks and adventures, but with this pooch, any potential adopters can get the best of both worlds, as he is always happy to come in fora fuss or snuggle up on the sofa. 

Seal has a wonderful personality and is looking for a forever home where he can settle in at his own pace and learn that life outside of Dogs Trust isn’t as scary as he thinks it is. He can live with older children but would like to be the only pet in the home.

2. Honey - The Dogs Trust Loughborough

Honey, the three-year-old Poodle Cross is a nervous pooch who is slowly starting to come out of her shell. Having led a sheltered life so far with little socialisation, Honey can be a bit nervous when meeting new people and dogs. 

But this pooch is very curious and is starting to gain confidence in new experiences and is showing just how brave she can be. She is looking for a calm home where she can settle in slowly and build up her confidence on her own terms. 

Honey would be happy to share the home with older children who can appreciate that she may need her space as she adjusts to a new environment, and she is looking to live with a confident, well-established pooch who can show her what life can belike as a dog in the home.

3. Archer - The Dogs Trust Loughborough

Archer is a four-year-old Poodle Cross who can be a little bit shy when meeting new people. Archer is gaining confidence daily and has shown just how much he loves a gentle fuss. 

As he gets more confident, more of Archer’s wonderful personality is beginning to shine through. He is looking for a patient, adult-only home with adopters who are willing to take the time to get to know him and will help this pooch settle into his forever home gradually. 

Although Archer may be able to make four-legged friends in the future, he would like to be the only pet in the home.

4. Sandy - The Dogs Trust Loughborough

Gorgeous one-year-old German Shepherd Cross, Sandy, is looking for a home to teach him all about life in the big, wide world. Sandy is a young, handsome dog with tonnes of potential who adores being with people.

Sandy is looking for an active home that can keep him both mentally and physically stimulated, promising lots of love in return. He is happy to live with older children but would like to be the only pet in the home.

5. Misty - The Dogs Trust Kenilworth

Misty is a beautiful five-year-old Greyhound with a playful spirit and a love for life’s simple joys. Misty loves her walks and will happily show off her fun side with bursts of zoomies. 

She is a friendly and affectionate girl who loves spending time with people she trusts. While Misty is a playful pooch, she can be a little nervous around new people. 

She is looking for a caring home that can help her adjust to life in a forever home, helping her to grow in confidence and enjoy life to the fullest. Misty would be happy to live with older children who can understand when she may need space and could live with a similarly matched dog who can show her the ropes.

6. Buffy - The Dogs Trust Kenilworth

Buffy the Rottweiler is a sweet, friendly two-year-old girl who has had a tough start to life. Buffy absolutely loves her toys, and once she feels comfortable, she can’t wait to roll around in the grass and snuggle up for a fuss. 

Although Buffy can be a little bit shy at first, she soon blossoms into a playful and affectionate pooch. Buffy is looking for a calm home with older children, where she can learn how to live in a home again. 

She has lived in a home before but is looking for adopters who can provide are fresher as she settles in. Buffy would like to be the only pet in the home, and once she is more comfortable and confident, she will soak up all the affection for herself.

7. Spritz - The Dogs Trust Kenilworth

Spritz, the one-year-old Pomeranian Cross, is a smart little pooch who loves to show off his tricks for a treat (or two). Spritz is a real clever clogs, who adores training, and enjoys going out for walks and exploring new places.

Spritz will need a housetraining refresher when heading to his forever home and is looking for a loving adopter who can spot when he isn’t quite as confident as he seems. As Spritz can sometimes feel a little overwhelmed, he is looking for a calm, patient, adult-only home where he can slowly feel more confident in a new environment. 

Spritz would love to have some doggy friends for his walks but would like to be the only pet in the home.

8. Gucci - The Dogs Trust Kenilworth

Gucci is a sweet, sensitive one-year-old Belgian Malinois-Akitas cross. This girl has initially found life at Dogs Trust a bit overwhelming, having spent her whole life in a home. 

But Gucci has shown just how confident she can be, coming on leaps and bounds, making new friends,enjoying her walks and learning that new people often mean tasty treats. While she can still find unfamiliar experiences a little daunting, she feels very comfortable and confident when around her trusted humans.

Gucci would thrive in a quiet, loving home with older children who can understand she may need a bit of space to find her paws. Because she may need a bit of time to settle in at her own pace, Gucci would like to be the only pet in the home.
