Great beers, hearty meals and plenty of live entertainment at first ever beer festival at quirky Staffordshire pub

A pub with a quirky look and a warm feeling inside is getting ready to welcome people in as it hosts its first beer festival.

Ale lovers across Staffordshire and the surrrounding area are invited to raise a glass as the Olde Vic Ale House in Bilbrook hosts its much-anticipated Real Ale Festival from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29.

The three-day event will kick off at 2pm on Friday and run through to 10pm on Sunday, bringing together a carefully selected range of 15 real ales from across the region and beyond, giving visitors the chance to sample a variety of flavours and styles from local breweries.

In addition to the ales, guests can also enjoy a range of traditional ciders supplied by festival partners Ales R Russ.

Alongside the drinks, festival goers can enjoy a hearty food menu throughout the weekend.

The food offering includes pulled pork and beef baps, BBQ pulled pork or beef loaded fries, mac and cheese, as well as smash burgers and fries, making sure visitors can enjoy great food alongside their pint.

Live entertainment will also form a key part of the festival atmosphere. 

On Friday evening, local favourites Tom and Harry will perform from 7pm, Saturday night will feature Ollie Meredith Wood taking to the stage from 7pm, while Sunday afternoon will see DJ Doctor John playing music through the ages from 2pm to round off the weekend celebrations.
