A new Burger Boi restaurant has opened at a Staffordshire retail park and its Californian vibes and fresh flavours are winning over fans from far and wide
There were queues outside and a buzz in the air as the newest Burger Boi restaurant officially opened its doors at a restail park in Staffordshire.
Burger Boi has officially opened its 17th franchise restaurant on Victoria Shopping Park in Hednesford on Thursday, bringing its unique brand of burgers, wings, Mac & Cheese, combination dishes and creamy milkshakes to Staffordshire for the first time.

The new restaurant has a bright look, full of bright videos and purple tiles and with a Californian vibe inspired by the burger scene of the West Coast of America and 19 jobs have been created by the opening of the restaurant, including in the kitchen and front of house.
Having established the brand in Wolverhampton and other parts of the West Midlands, then as far away as Luton, Gloucester and Manchester, it was a chance for Burger Boi to bring a new taste to Hednesford.

Manager Kharam Sandhar was joined by family and friends as he cut the ribbon to officially open the restaurant and spoke about the Burger Boi journey and what people could expect.

He said: "The brand started out about five years ago in lockdown and it was only a small brand, so we had a shop in Wolverhampton, which was our first ever shop and which has done extremely well.
"We decided to franchise out all over the country, including up north, and we now have 17 shops and an exclusive deal with Morrisons as well.

"What makes Burger Boi work so well is that we have a different variety of food, such as a variety of chicken burgers, beef burgers, Mac, wings, tenders, milkshakes and stuff for vegetarians, so we do something for everyone."

All of the food at Burger Boi is freshly prepared and marinated on site, and cooked with fresh ingredients such as lettuce and tomatoes, and beef which comes from Angus line beef from Leicester.

Mr Sandhar said it had been an easy decision to come to Hednesford, saying it was a good location with a lot of interest in the brand.

He said: "Hednesford is an up-and-coming town and we thought there's a lot of exposure here, plus it's a very good location where there are loads of people and, hopefully, everyone comes in and tries the food.

"We do think we can make an impact here as we've had a lot of exposure on the social media side and we've had a lot of messages from people excited to come in.

"Hopefully, from the first day onwards, we should be busy and everyone will come and enjoy the food."
One person queueing outside said they had heard about the quality of the food and wanted to give it a try.

He said: "I've not been to a Burger Boi before, but I saw it on social media and though the food looked great, so I wanted to come down today and give it a try.
"The restaurant looks great and I'm looking forward to trying the food and seeing what it's like."

For the first week until Thursday, January 29, Burger Boi is offering 50 per cent off on all orders.
