13 West Midlands pubs open on Christmas Day 2025 to grab the perfect festive drink
We've taken a look at some of the places across the region you can enjoy a festive pint on Christmas Day.
With just a few weeks to go until Christmas day, people will be making plans for the big day, from when lunch will take place to where to watch the King's Christmas message.
For a lot of people as well, they will look at going out for a festive pint, maybe as a way of breaking the time between opening presents and lunch or just as a tradition they've kept with friends and family over the years.
While December 25 is a bank holiday, there are still plenty of pubs across the Black Country and Staffordshire which will be opening their doors for a few hours to welcome in festive drinkers, so we've put together a list of some of the best pubs to visit for that Christmas pint:
Wolverhampton
The Starting Gate, 134 Birches Barn Road, Wolverhampton, WV3 7BG

The owners of the popular micro-pub will be opening the doors of the converted bank in Bradmore from 10am to 1pm on Christmas Day.
