Wolverhampton restaurant gets zero rating as 21 food businesses get new scores in the latest food hygiene ratings

Food hubs from across the Black Country and Stafford have been handed fresh hygiene ratings following the last round of inspections with one in Wolverhampton scoring zero.

New Food Standard Agency ratings have been issued to restaurants, cafes, pubs, and food establishments across Walsall, Sandwell, Dudley, and Wolverhampton, judging their attention to cleanliness, food safety, and food handling. 

The ratings aim to provide potential customers with a snapshot of the food hygiene standards at businesses across the region, with the coveted rating of five being the most sought after.

A score of five is considered 'very good', four 'good', three 'generally satisfactory', two 'some improvement necessary', one 'major improvement necessary' and zero 'urgent improvement required'.
