Big flavours, indulgent meals and unique cocktails all part of new winter menu by popular Penkridge pub

A popular Penkridge pub renowned for the high quality of its food has announced a new winter menu with a wide range of flavours, handmade goodness and even meals with a festive twist.

Award-winning pub with rooms, The Littleton Arms in Penkridge, has built upon the success of its last menu with the new winter menu, and is set to launch its limited-edition Christmas Fayre Menu as well. 

The new winter menu is packed full of dishes with the likes of a 24oz Tomahawk, Monkfish and Lamb Shank dishes served up to diners, whilst the popular large flatbreads introduced on the last menu, and sharing loaded fries get a makeover with interesting new ingredients that serve up flavours from across the globe in a street food style. 

There will also be a new burger line-up that mixes flavours such as maple bacon, whiskey honey ham hock, jerk gravy and miso and sesame slaw across the six ‘big’ new offerings.

New items on the menu, which launches on Thursday, include a large Ham Hock, Stilton & Chestnut Mushroom Croquette, and Nduja & Buffalo Mozzarella Stuffed Dough Balls.

Katie McPhilimey, Associate Marketing Director for Davenports, owners of The Littleton Arms said: “You will be hard pressed to find a more engaging, thoughtful, and tempting menu elsewhere. 

"Generosity runs through it, not just in terms of portion size, but flavours, breadth of ingredients and thoughtfulness that underpins this expertly crafted menu. 

"From elegant street food to stylish fine dining, sharing platters to indulgent burgers – this menu serves up a foodie experience for everyone, and occasion.” 

On November 17, the pub will also launch a limited-edition Christmas Fayre Menu, which includes cocktails with edible gold, and a range of Christmas dishes, and will be on offer until December 23.

The Grey Goose Dining Pod will also be live in December, with a dedicated member of staff and bespoke menu.

Ms McPhilimey said: “The Littleton Arms is known for being generous, and this winter and festive season is no different. 

"Our Alpine theme décor will soon be going up and there is even talk of a Christmas Movie showcase in our stable buildings.

"We all want to end 2025 on a high, and we’re doing our best to ensure that for everyone who visits.”
