13 Black Country restaurants handed new top hygiene marks in October - see which got top marks!

Food venues across the Black Country have received top hygiene ratings in the most recent set of inspections.

New Food Standards Agency ratings have been dished out to restaurants across Walsall, Sandwell and Wolverhampton, giving a glance at their cleanliness, food safety and food handling.

In the ratings, a score of five is considered 'very good', four 'good', three 'generally satisfactory', two 'some improvement necessary', one 'major improvement', and zero 'urgent improvement required'.

The inspections give a snapshot of a food venue's cleanliness and food handling, giving customers an idea of the hygiene standards of restaurants across the region.
